I was doing a scan with Dr. Web and it was finding viruses and some of the files were the HP computer files is this an error or does viruses get wrapped up in system files. I hit the delete all button, and then stopped it after I saw what it was doing. Now its wanting me to re-boot and I dont know what to do. Scared to re-start computer. How do i use virus scanners carefully. I was using iobit malware was going great, then this one time it found something. Hit the fix it button, and then next time i turned on the computer i would click on my account it would try to boot up and then go back to logon screen. I ended up scewing up that computer. How do you make back-up discs also. I want and need to learn. I'm trying to be IT for this company, already working for them. I have taken comp 101 lol..and have been around computers for 20 years mostly self taught

I'm not familiar with DR.Web so someone may be able to give better advice.

You could try to use System Restore before rebooting and see if there are any restore points available. That should undo the Dr. Web deleting and then you can decide whether or not to retry Dr. Web or go to the Malware forum and do the Read and Run Me before posting. They can take a look at your logs to determine if you have anything that needs to be removed.
