My kids are out of school for two weeks + a couple days. Plus they get the summer off, couple more weeks in the spring and days off during the other months for misc things. Ok, I am jelous, just a tad. I had to get up at 5:30 am... I called my house at 10:30 to see how everyone was doing, My wife just woke up and the kids are still sleeping. Called back at 11:45, the kids are still in their PJs and playing the PS2.... I want to play too!

    LOL. I know the feeling.

Although..... childhood insecurities, teenage hormones, growing pains of all sorts. Don't know if I'd really like to go back to all of those. ;)

True, pros and cons to almost anything. I guess being a teacher would be a happy medium too.

Yeah but even though I'm a kid, I can tell you that it's probably better now than in 10 years or so when they are off doing things with their friends all the time.

LOL. Sure you were. :D Although there are some older yet. except when my alarm goes off in the mornings. At that hour, I'm older than dirt. But I get a bit younger after first coffee. ;)

I'm always getting told to act my age, but I know people don't really want that. Besides, I can't. Truth is, I'd love to go back to 16, and do it all over again with what I know now. No wait, 6. Why waste 10years of summers off, Christmas off, Easter off.......Man would I be annoying.

Turning 30 was the worst experience I can think of.
All those bike crashes I'd survived, all the love I'd wasted, all the time I could have spent with my mother...
They all kicked in when I turned 30. They all hurt.

For what it's worth, its better to have learned that at 30 than at 50.

How very true, I learned mine during my 40th year. All the failed stunts that 'didn't hurt', and the things that 'didn't matter'. Luckily, we can 'live and learn'. :)
