I have a repeating problem, please HELP

    Hey guys, it seems like you're all very knowledgable while on the other hand I'm quit a newbie when it comes to computer maintenance, so please be easy on me.

    I have just the same problem as the guy from this post:

    (Reminder:
    Symptoms are:

    1. Running HijackThis, Avenger, Spyware Doctor, Spybot S&D and Avira Antivirus have the same message: "...is not a valid Win32 application"
    2. Safe Mode does not work.
    3. System Restore does not work.)

    I followed ALL the steps from the malware removal guide and generated all the logs. Please help me I don't want to format my PC... Thanx :)

    I will attach the last log (MGTools) to the next reply (I don't have any other way...)

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    Your security and your PC's security are important. You should not cheat by installing any cracked software, but installing a crack for your antivirus program is really a very bad idea. Do you want to be protected or don't? This is dangerous to your security as the program cannot be trusted to perform properly. Uninstall the below now and get a legit antivirus program.

    NOD32 v3.0.642 FiX1.2 by TemDono (31 days remaining forever up

    Is your copy of Spyware Doctor a paid version? If not, uninstall it now.

    According to your Malwarebytes log you did not take any action. Please run it again and make sure that your quarantine or delete all problems it finds. Then attach a new log.

    Did you notice any error messages when you ran MGtools.exe? It did not run properly and we need these logs to continue. Please do run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).


    Then attach the below log:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
    Make sure you watch for error messages and tell me if you get any. You will see how to fix certain errors on the Using MGtools instructions page. I guessing that you are getting at least one of those errors and need to run the fix.

    Hey man, thank you for the quick response.
    However, I don't know how you got these conclusions, since I DID run Malwarebytes, it found more than 40 infections and I chose to remove\quarantine all of them.
    Also, MGTools ran smoothly without any errors, and I attached all the logs it generated...

    Anyhow, I did what you asked, I ran Malwarebytes again (it found only 1 infection) and I'm attaching its log plus MGLogs.zip (after running GetLogs.bat)

    See what is in the first MBAM log you attached. ;) Perhaps you saved the log before taking action?

    I'm sorry but MGtools is not running error free. Someting is wrong somewhere.

    Please click Start, Run, and enter cmd and click OK. This will open a command prompt window. Enter the below commands at the command prompt each followed by the enter key. The bold black are commands. The purple is merely informational.

    cd \MGtools <-- this changes to the MGtools folder and the prompt should change to C:\MGtools>
    GetRunKey <-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    ShowNew <-- this will try to run all another scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
