I have a small/large spyware/hijack problem

Hey, It sure is nice to see you guys on here helping out guys. AS opposed to those jerks who write this spyware/malware/hijack/crap. I was wondering if you could be of some assistance in helping me out with a problem I have. I appear to have something that has hijacked my computer. I have a problem with it adding links to "my favorites" in explorer. Also, I get pop-ups for some sort of strip poker thing. I had a problem with getting an about:blank screen, but I think some of the things I used took care of that. Lets see, the things I have tried. Ad-aware, Spybot search and destroy, Microsoft antispyware, SpywareGuard, AVG. Also, I went through one of the support pages on this web site and followed the instructions to wipe clean one of the dll files that showed up in my hijack this log, like it said to. I think that did a lot to get rid of the about:blank crap, but it hasn't done much to help the rest. Also, I ran all the programs first in regular mode, then in safe mode. Also, I turned off the ummh,, what that thing called. A whatjamagigger?? That's a descriptive word. We'll call it System Restore.

If anyone can give me a direction to head, Id be appreciative!! Oh yeah, I'm running XP.

Did you run all the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal and in the order given. If yes and you still have a problem, follow the guidelines below and post a HijackThis log.

Make sure you have HijackThis 1.99 and follow the guidelines on where to install it and how to post a log as an attachment. This is all covered in the sticky thread NO HIJACK THIS LOG FILES BEFORE READING THIS: HJT Tutorial & LOG File Posting

Now post a HijackThis log as an attachment to your message (Do not post the log inline). All running programs should be closed, including your web browser, e-mail. Close before running Hijack This!

To repeat: Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file. Place it in its own folder, for example C:\Program Files\HJT
