I have done the read me first scans, except for combofix - when I tried I got an error message something to do with no admin authority.
I scanned using spybot but not sure whether there is a log for that?
Any help you can give would be really appreciated. My sound has stopped working not sure whether a trojan horse can do that or whether this is another problem.

Your sound problem is most likely not related to malware. You may need to reinstall drivers for your hardware. You should post about this in the Hardware Forum.

You have some left overs from Symantec to remove. Please run the below then reboot. After reboot run it one more time.

    Norton Removal Tool (SymNRT)

Are the below programs things you knowingly installed.
    Coupon Printer
    WebFetch.co.uk

I don't see any other obvious malware in your logs. Are you still having problems with malware? If so, exactly what are the problems.

    Thanks for your reply.
My AVG is detecting that trojanhorse downloader.agen.ajyx is present. It is still detecting it. It doesnt seem to be causing any problems that I am aware of but still want to get rid of it!
I did knowingly download webfetch and the coupon printer.

We need to know where it is detecting it. Attach a log that shows the file name(s) and Path information. It could just be something in System Volume Information which is System Restore.

Sorry if this sounds really stupid but I dont know where AVG saves the test results, I can view in AVG but not in a format that can be attached.

Double click the AVG icon in your tray and then click Service. Under Service select the Event History Log and find the log from the scan. All logs are here including update logs. Save the log to a .txt file so you can attach it or just copy and paste the infor here if it is not too long.
