I have vista and guess what? Programs wont connect.

    So I have windows vista and I'm in college so I get free internet. My connection is good and I can open explorer and it works fine, but everything from my itunes to aim, to trillian wont and can't connect. I have no idea why. I've run scans on anything I can and it still wont help. Any ideas will be much appreciated!:cry

    Are you using the Firewall that comes with Vista, or a 3rd Party Firewall. Also, if this is the College's WiFi network, most likely those programs are blocked to not allow communications, due to the amount of Bandwidth that is used, especially with iTunes when downloading music & videos.
