I keep getting a notice from SpyStopper

I did not download SpyStopper and I have tried to uninstall it from my computer but it keeps coming back. I also found many other Trojans/Malware on my hard drive when I ran the scans in your Read Me First sticky.

I have attached the Bitdefender, PandaScan, and HiJackThis logs. Could you please advise what else I need to address to get my computer clean?

    Thanks.

What kind of notice are you talking about? And does it really say SpyStopper. Or does it say something slightly different like:

    Spy Stopper (notice the space)
    SpywareStopper
    SpyStop
    SpyStopperPro

Does it show in Add/Remove programs?

There is nothing showing for it in your logs. Run the steps in the below link and attach the log:

    Using GetRunKey

My handwriting is sloppy so I can't tell if it has a space between the two words. It could be Spy Stopper or SpyStopper. It was one or the other. I not only ran the steps in the sticky Read First but also some of the the scans suggested in other threads in the hopes that I could remove everything infecting the drive.

Anyway, here is the GetRunKey log. Thanks for the help.

Are you still having problems with it now? If so, what does it say exactly and what are the effects?

Sorry, I forgot to tell you that it showed as a bubble from the tool bar stating that I was infected with spyware(no, really?) If I tried to close it, it would just pop up again, seconds later. If I clicked in the bubble it downloaded a program that put what looked like an eye on the toolbar. The first thing I tried to get rid of it was to Add/Remove through the Control Panel. The bubble just kept reappearing. Since I ran all the scans I haven't seen it again. Thanks.

Okay! That's what I thought because I do not see it. It was probably related to the Smitfraud line of malware.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

After that, you should work thru the below link:
