...I need help to how have it back OR download a free software and how to install.

? I'm confused, since when didn't OE NOT have one? I lost mine when I installed an old version of Office 97 onto my machine. Apparently which was not compatible with the current OE. Have you installed any word processing programs?

 

If your running XP SP1, and word 97, you need to install this simple fix:http://www.tech-pro.net/howto_010.html
With SP2, i's alrady fixed, It is on mine anyway.

Thank you All, I have downloaded the file, and it seems it should work after a reboot.

I am sorry, I should also have provide my o/s, here it is:
win ME. 256 Ram. I guess it would have helped when suggesting a solution with XP and Word 97.

Thanks, Apparently, OE 5 and 6 do not come with a speller. I have OE 6.
