I made a dual boot Wiith Xp and 7

    Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

    Ok are there going to be any issues on the same HD.

    I split up a 160Gig hd made each 80Gigs for each windows.they are on the same HD but they have there own partitioning.

    You need to install the older OS (XP) first, then the newer one (7). This way it will enable the W7 boot manager.

    If you use a grub based boot manager you can install in any order you like and remove either without disturbing the other. Windows boot manager is a bad joke.
