Okay so my dad has a windows nokia phone and he broke the lcd board in it and I was wondering if anyone knew how to override the system or something to get the pictures off of it without going through the Microsoft account. I've been trying for the past four hours to get the stuff off of the phone and I have made NO progress. any advice?

    Hi

If its just the LCD screen then plug it into any PC and access the storage as you do with a normal flash drive as Windows phones allow this access via Explorer, down side is that if your dad uses a password to access the phone then you may not be able to enter this to give a Windows PC the access to the data files.

Did your dad actually setup any photos to be automatically via WiFi sent to OneDrive? if so they are there but you state you dont want to use a Microsoft account so this method can be null and void on two counts!

Sadly like most if not all smartphones that dont have SD card storage (takes that you actually save important stuff to SD) that you cannot access the solid state chips.

Ps. I do use Windows Phones and have done for last 8yrs so have looked at issues and fixes for them
