I need a star

It can be .gif .jpg .bmp - I don't care. I need a gold star with no background, not even white...just the star. If it is animated...twinkles or spins...even better. No religous conotations. The more professional (not cartoon) looking the better.

Anybody have anything like this I can use in a PPP ?

I can make you one real quick. Can you use a png or psd format? They would have cleaner edges. Give me an approximate size and do you want it do have dimension/depth..re: beveled or just flat gold?

I have very limited old software at work...being a non profit. All I have is Windows Imaging and Microsoft Paint, if that answers your question on the png or psd.

I would like them to be small....to put in 2 of the corners of our main sponsors banner on the PowerPoint presentation, to highlight them above the minor sponsors. Beveled would be awesome if it doesn't create to great a task for you. I really appreciate you doing this Abby

 

Did these real quick showing some different ranges of bevel and shades of gold while I was waiting for you to reply. Are any of these close to what you are looking for?

Can you be more specific about how small? The reason I ask is that as you have limited software the quality would be better if I make them as close as possible to the size you need rather than you trying to resize them later. Take your avatar and crop it down for me to the approximate size you need..I can work with that

Wow...you are fast The biggest star of the four is just perfect! You're a star (pun intended) and you live with Star, so it's only natural what you do with stars would be perfect too

I just put my avatar in the presentation and the size I attach would work great...perhaps just a wee bit larger. Thanks.

 

LOL..thanks..give me a couple minutes..just one more question though b/c I think it would be best to go with a gif with the software you have. What is the background color the stars will be on? When I export the gif I need to match the color so the partially transparent pixels will blend in. Even better, attach a small sample of the banner and I can snag the color code right from it.

k...I had forgotten to add the other star..it's there now...one looked kinda dull...the other is a little brighter looking.

Sadly as a non-profit, our computer hardware and software is always light years behind the private sector. We rely on banks and other organizations updating their hardware and donating their old stock to us. As a result, we are still running on Win98 here When I first started I had a big fat 128mb or RAM in my PC, so I was upgraded.........to 256!!!! Try running Contribute on that baby and prevent the sucker from crashing all the time My last job I had a brand new Toshiba laptop with projector, docking station...the lot, and a tablet. Sometimes it is terribly frustrating having to spend so much time figuring a way around technological limitations to get to where I need to be.

 

Sounds like you need a good Grant Writer.

Hehe.....that's what I am doing here, but with 10 programs to run for homeless youth, admin usually takes a back seat. I'm getting pretty good and finding all the freebies though. Adobe are pretty generous to non-profits each year.
