i need driver help with a dell Dimension 1100/B110 desktop

    My old computer got an oxoooooo24 error so i cleared all memory off of it and reinstalled window xp but i can't really do anything on the computer. I can't connect to the internet nothing because i can't find the right drivers needed. I have had the computer since 2004 its a dell Dimension 1100/B110 desktop. not really sure everything else, not really good with all this computer stuff. Could someone help please it would be appreciated.

    i have already tried that and i can't figure out how to install the drivers onto the computer, also i would just download them to that computer through the internet but i can't connect to the internet

    Download the .exe files to a flash drive or external hard drive, or burn them to CD. Then move the media to the target computer, open it and run the .exe files. They will install themselves then.

    On the Dell site, if you get asked how you want to download the files, choose the bottom option saying that you want to download them through your browser, not though the Dell wizard which will try and install them on the computer you are downloading from.

    do you know which driver i'll need to get connected to the internet

    That would be the "Intel - Driver" one under the Network category. If you click on the file name you come to this page, that has installation instructions. Just click the blue down-arrow and it expands the category to show you the info you need.

    Look in the network category for the bottom entry, named "Intel - Driver"

    That's the one you need.

    okay i tried that and i have no idea what to do next. I still don't know how to get it connected to the internet

    Does the computer connect to the network OK? Have you managed to install the driver?
    Do the lights on the network port light up when you plug in a cable?
