Please, if anyone knows an easy to use daily backup program please let me know. The parameters I need are as follows:

    1. set time to automaticlly start backup
    2. be able to save to a computer on the same network.
    3. be cheap or free.

I have to mirror 2 computers on the same network for an emergency backup situation.

I have looked at so many programs I am getting confused with all of them, and it seems that most of them want to copy the hard drive in full and not just the work that was done that day.

Is there a program that will do what I am asking.

Thanks for your help and advice to all who respond.

I use a program called Allway Sync to transfer files that have changed or modified to a NAS that I have on my network.

I also use a program called ExactFile to verify that the files on the server match my local copy. It will report any files that are missing or files that fail the MD5 check.

Cobian backup is very nice. It back ups files with different schemes, has scheduling, email reporting, compression, encryption..
If you want to spend a few bucks Second Copy from http://www.centered.com/

I have been using Karens Replicator to make security backup copies.

Each "Job" has it's own parameters including automatic scheduling, file filter(s), source location, backup destination.
It can also "Replicate File and Folder Deletions" and deletions can optionally be sent to the Recycle Bin.

It does not have compression, encryption or restore capabilities.
