I need help finding something please

Hi,

I am going through the whole process of cleaning the malware off my computer ~ so far I didn't have any. But this next scan I have to do bitdefender requires Internet Explorer. I use Mozilla. When I go to download internet I.E. 6 service pack 1, it says that I actually have a newer version already. I did download XP service pack 2 recently. Thing is I can't find how to access the internet explorer browser. The only place I know to look is Start>Programs or start>controle panel>add or remove software and it isn't on my desktop.

Anyway does anyone know were my IE might be hiding?

You might try a search on your computer for Internet Explorer, and see if it turns up that way.

 

Iexplore.exe is the executable file that starts Internet Explorer. (Thats a capital I, not a small L). Do a search for that. That will soon show if you have Internet Explorer on your PC, or not.
