I need help to update my drivers, and make battlefield Vietnam run more smoother.

Hello guys, well, im a BFV freak, my fav. game, but its real hard to play, my clan tells me i need to update my drivers..but i cant quite figure it out, i lag majorly, but my pings at about..52? please help some one

Check with Nvidia's website for the latest driver (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.84.html). But I don't think that's your problem. Looks like you need some upgrades. I'd suggest getting some more RAM and upgrading your video card. 256 just won't cut when playing games nowadays. Don't know if spending some cash is an option for you right now but this is my suggestion.

 

If you have joined a clan you must really enjoy playing,it will be hard to be competitive with your current system,everything needs to be upgraded i.e new computer,the lag is probably caused by your cpu not being abl;e to handle the amount of players and the graphical detail,if the lag becomes worse when there are more players online its a surefire sign your system is too slow,try going on an empty server with a low ping and see if it lags.

dl the latest nvidia drivers and unistall your current ones via add/remove in the control panel and run driver cleaner(read the readme file for more detail) ... also set everything in your display properties to application controlled and performance ,,, and set the in-game graphics to low and a low resolution .. also if you're on dial up you will lag regardless of what you do

No, uninstall your drivers.

Then download and install the latest drivers from nvidia - http://www.nvidia.com
