In an effort to make my life less boring, I've decided I need a penpal or six. If anyone wants to BE my penpal, list a topic of conversation and PM me your Mailing address.

It'll be fun! I'll send mine to you too and you can write me a letter while I'm writing one for you.

I actually don't. A little gremlin (Kahlyn) Ate (made confetti of) my address books. So I lost everyone.

I sent out Postcards to Goldfish, N5638J, MeanDog, Phantom, MCadam & GT to make sure I got the addresses right. I have one going out today to Gensuknives. They're Dilbert. I'm pretty sure most of you should have gotten them by now, I'm not sure why the locals haven't. I think it takes a week or two to get to Aussie maybe to UK, but not Georgia

It takes 10 days from the USA to the UK. However, it takes anything over 2 weeks from the UK to the USA. The UK international postal system is totally crap!

 

Unless you send it recorded first class, I've got mail there in 2 days a few times

 

wenchie, i dont want to do snail mail. my mail box is 20mls away from me and is emptied twice a week, if that. in addition, hawaii takes forever. cant i just email you?

 

Yes you can dear It's just something to do.. although, soon I may have to turn off my internet - money problems - So i will only have email at work

 

Yeah, It usually takes 1 week, or so for letter mail, and about 2-3 for parcels (sea-mail).

Unfortunately, I also got my own letter back to me today - RTS: not enough postage. Stupid post office woman, didn't give me the right number of stamps!!! Oh well, never mind. I'll make damn sure she gets it right this time.

No poo! Maybe it'd be easier to walk over there and deliver it myself.....

I've not resent yet due to schools, should be worth it when it EVENTUALLY gets there though...

 

Yuppers, costs $1:10 in stamps for postcards from Oz to U.S.A./Canada - and that's cheaper than ordinary mail. Not a "break the bank" amount, but adds up when sending out a few. ( No, I haven't forgotten! ).
