I had an error on my laptop and pc, which when i run "regedit" an error appears- "re-g-istry editting has been disabled by your administrator" and then my pc or laptop restart. Even when i try downloading something, my pc restarts (not all downloads), and even when i try to install some re-g-ist-ry fixing or cleaning program, my pc restarts, and even when i search for that error on google or yahoo, my pc restarts. and eve when an error message appears.

i type re-g--istry in that way because bif i post it with its normal spelling, my pc would restart.

So i re-installed the windows on both my laptop and pc,

and then there was no error, but when i started sharing files, the same error occured.

how can i fix thisssss!!!!! (i think its because of sharing)

Do please try and follow our standard cleaning procedures below which are necessary for us to provide you support, I know your having issues with the internet but you seem to be posting on here ok at present and not all downloads are affected as you mention.

But as you admitted all this happened when you started and then re-started a 2nd time using filesharing ( p2p ), seems as the files you are downloading are infected, so maybe option is to not use filesharing software?

Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

So please follow the below guide.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis
