I some how got some viruses on my computer. I have removed some of it with AVG antivirus. However i still had some problems. I ran highjackthis and i have the log file from it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to keep and delete from this log file? Thanks

There is nothing in your HJT log! Not even things that should be there like processes/services for your antivirus program. Have you been using HJT on your own to remove things? If so, you need to undo what you did and stop using it on your own before you cause more problems.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

I did everything in the thread. It seems my computer is malware free. I do think i screwed something up like you assumed i did. When i log onto my computer it tells me that i have to use a temporary user account because im missing files for mine i guess. Is there anything i can do to replace whatever i deleted?

No you have not. Until you have attach the 4 logs that are requested you have not finished.

Undo whatever you did. If necessary use System Restore to go back to a restore point from before you started experimenting on your own.

I'm just stating the facts. The instructions clearly tell you if you still have problems you need to attach the logs.
