I need some help with my graphics card.

Hello,

I've recently purchased a ATI Radeon 7000 PCI video card (http://www.imagestore.us/product.asp?pf_id=HY-PCI7000) for my PC. I installed it into my mother board and then installed the drivers. Everything seemed to work out just fine...until...

I try to play .mpg, .avi, .wmv files or watch streaming vids on the web and suddenly, the window/Windows Media Player freezes, it gives me the "The program is not responding." display message, then my whole PC itself freezes, forcing me to manually reboot. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall my drivers, only to have the same results. I've also tried to uninstall my old video card's drivers, but each time I reboot when I reinstall the new ATI ones, Windows reinstalls my old video card automatically.

Can someone here pleeeeease help me? I just got my DSL and it sucks to have to be restricted like this. Help!

Welcome to the forum Download and run this program it will remove any traces of your old video card follow the instructions in the readme to the LETTER "ignore the cab cleaner" its important you do so to completely remove the old drivers,if you get stuck post back
