I need some serious help please

confused I need help building a very powerful fast up to date PC, I have no price limit just need the best. First off PC will be used for audio recording I no I need x4 memory slots, atleast x2 pci express, and x2 regular pci slots can someone please help. thanx

 

Ok assuming this post is still active ill be more than glad to help you build a system! Your right for audio editing your going to need a fast system. I would recommend a Intel Core2 Duo for your processor. This processor supports the new DDR2 ram which is a lot faster than the old DDR. I would recommend at least 2gb of low-latency ram, however strongly recommend more (like maybe 4gb for a really fast system). The motherboard i would get a good motherboard with a fast front bus speed. I would also get a fairly big SATA hard drive. If your going to be doing audio editing and keeping the files you might want to consider two hard drives and RAID 0 (i think dont hold me to the type) which will save your files twice, once on each hard drive so you dont really have to worry about a hard disk going down. Almost every sound card ive seen is just normal PCI so you'll have to make sure your motherboard got a few PCI slots. If you want to use this system for gaming (which wouldnt be hard to do with these parts) just drop in a good PCI Express video card and you'll have one rockin system (most people only dream about systems this good). And top it all off with a GOOD power supply, this is often a part that is under appreciated, but believe me with the high end stuff you'll end up with this is a must.
