Hey, y'all! Been a while since I've posted here (which that's a good thing 'cause that means everything's been pretty cool with my computers! YAY! :-D ) HOWEVER, my HP mini with Windows 7 OS is infected with 17 items - 15 of which are Trojan horse Downloader.Generic11BGJT. I have no clue what these are except that they're obviously not nice. They have been moved to my virus vault (AVG). My problem is that I cannot get online with that laptop now. The other laptops and desktop get online fine. We DID install Bearshare (I know I know....don't yell at me for that! I'm married to a DJ so he needed music quick and free!) I thought that if I did a destructive recovery on it, it would take it back to just like it was when it was purchased. I can't seem to get into BIOS and I have no CD drive so I won't be able to re-install anything. Am I on the right thought pattern here or is there something else I can do to fix this myself? I'm blonde but I'm not a dumb blonde so, I think I can do it myself with the proper guidance. :) :)
So whatcha think? Any takers to help me with this issue?
