I open a program but I can't see it

It's still open, I can right click on it's spot on the taskbar and hit max or min or restore but I cannot find it. I click move and the pointer goes to the upper left of the screen but I cannot drag it. I can open task manager and have it brought to the front but to no avail. This has happened before but then it went away, this time it seems to want to stay around. The program that always seems to get hit is Forte Agent, it's happened to several versions of it. If anyone knows how to cure this please respond. I read through all the the common questions and through many of the 39 pages of other topics but couldn't find this one.
