    switches into mouse input???

I am trying to interface a space program that uses mouse positions and clicks to activate on-screen "switches".

The interface would have inputs of actual switches that would be translated into the appropiate mouse coordinates and clicks.

Does anyone have an idea how to cobble this together?

There are serial i/o boards that sense circuit closings but that has to go into a "mouse translator" program .....

This program will go on one of several computers from a Pentium I - IV and I can use Win 98, 2000 or XP RAM is also variable. I can even "waste" one computer that has periferal I/O board and "sends" out the mouse command into a second computer (hate to do that) running the space program ("A OK, WIngs of Mercury" that uses a "virtural" mercury space craft, mission and console.)
