I Ran Malwarebytes And Now I Can't Delete

I was getting download errors in Chrome, so I ran Malwarebytes and it found a ton of PUPs. I was running it in safe mode, so I couldn't see the entire file path of each PUP, so I couldn't tell what they were. But I was feeling sick and tired, so I just let Malwarebytes put them all into quarantine, thinking I could pull them out again.

Now, after restarting my laptop, I find my delete key isn't working. While selecting the file I'm trying to delete, I right clicked it to select "delete" that way, but it's not in the menu. So I Google how to force delete in Windows using the command prompt and it said something about "delete" not being a known command anymore.

When I first came here this morning, I saw the ad for that tweaking.com windows repair software, and I thought I'd give it a try and see if it helped this problem, but I'm still getting download errors.

I do have a lot of the software that is recommended in the "try this first" post here, backed up on CDs somewhere, so even thought I can't download anything, I might be able to use some of that software if it is recommended. I did look for that post this morning, but for some reason I had trouble finding it. Maybe it's just that I'm still not feeling well.

I tried opening Malwarebytes and looked through the PUPs that were quarantined and moved the ones that looked harmless to me.
Then I tried scanning something to an external disk I usually use and it says I suddenly don't have access privileges to it.

Please tell us what the OS is for this computer.

    Try resetting Chrome to default.
    Reset Chrome to Defaults

Also, please attach your MBAM log so we can review it.

I forgot to mention, I also tried manually dragging a file to the trash and that also did not work.
    I'm posting the report below.

One more thing; I thought maybe I might have to reset read/write access privileges to the external drive I was trying to scan to, so I searched on how to do that. It said to select properties for the drive and then select the "security" tab. I have no security tab.
One video said to make sure I am on an account that has admin permissions. I double checked, and mine is the only account on my laptop. There is no separate "admin" user listed.

Also, I reset Chrome, but download errors persist.

I think I figured out the download errors. I had set my downloads to go to the same external hard drive that my scans are set to save to which has been changed to read only permissions.

Then I suggest you change your download destination to the download folder. Then please run the Read and Run First instructions in the pro-malware removal forum and attach those logs.
