I really need some assistance!

    We just got internet hooked up and for some odd reason Yahoo.com comes up as newshot.ru and msn.com comes up as hobot.ru You can't get on anywhere else on yahoo like mail or anything. Same with MSN. I ran spybot, ad aware, ccleaner, and hijackthis. I have the log for hijackthis that I want to post and if anyone can help me get rid of these annoying pages it would be greatly appriciated.

    Ok well I can't seem to get my log attached so if someone who thinks they can help would e-mail me I can send you the log.

    HijackThis logs are only looked at after our full cleaning procedures are run. Do not attach one until you have run all the steps below. There is a link in the READ ME explaining how to attach files too.

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)

    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis
