I still have 130 days remaining on existing 2010, however...

My apologies if this concern has been answered but I couldn't tell exactly. Norton is putting a pop-up screen ( other than the normal Live Updates) asking me to install the 2011 version AntiVirus w/ AntiSpyWare but I still have 130 days remaining on the 2010 version. They say it's free w/ my current subscription but why should I install it now & cut off the remaining 130 days? Shouldn't I wait to buy the 2011 version at Best Buy for the full coverage? Thankyou

    Hi

If I remember this right, you can upgrade to the 2011 version freely using your 2010 licence and that covers you for the remaining 130 days of your current licence, once that 130 days has past then you can just re-new your 2011 version, this gives you the current version before you need to update.

You will get the full coverage of the 2011 version if you update.

If you are cut off from your remaining 130 days a call to Norton support will fix that HERE
