I survived my vacation . . .

My wife dragged me kicking and screaming away from my computer on a cruise to the Bahamas . . . I actually had fun (don't tell her . . . ).

It was pretty cool, but I am glad to be home again. One thing I had resolved to do on this trip was to purchase and smoke (sort of) an actual Cuban cigar! I did so . . . but I quit smoking nearly four years ago, and the cigar damn near made me sick. But I did it!!!!

I have been trying to loose all the weight I gained while quitting smoking . . . sadly this four day cruise shot that all to hell! Lots of food on a cruise, I discovered . . . and I made sure that I got my moneys worth!

 

Lucky you! I wish I had a wife that dragged me off to the Bahamas on a cruise! I could do with some warmth and some sun, Sweden is starting to get quite shivery and dark..

 

Are you absolutely sure you didnt hide a lappy in that suitcase Natakel?

Maybe not, if your wife is anything like my lovely, this would be unwise.

Never been on a cruise myself, but sounds like you had fun. Except the cigar.......

lol . . . I must admit I didn't smoke the cigar all the way . . . I just wanted to puff on an actual Cuban cigar.

The Bahamas sounds like a nice place to be. It would be one of my choices for vacation, except it's so damn far away from where I am. We get the Cuban stogies over here, though - I indulge occasionally.

@ Solange:- Spent three years in Sweden, before we came here. That's where my wife originates. I intend to visit there again, one of these days.

 

Make sure you come in the summer, and not this time of year!
