that is one fine piece of wood. what kind of finish are you thinking of?

 

cherry red! that piece of tree would look damn fine cherry red!
I refinish antiques and guitars, so my vote is cherry red or, or, a custom blue stain with clear lacquer

 

Nice wood. I can see the flames, but no book-matching, unfortunately. Maybe towards the left end?

 

Im thinking purple for this one. And it will match up pretty good when I split it , I hope

going maple on the neck this time, not sure about fretboard. I may do birdseye if it isn't to gaudy with the flame top. Probably 6100 jumbo frets.

 

Good piece of wood Blues. Should look great, whateve color you choose for it.
