OMG!! I can't believe what happened today!! As you all know I was scheduled to take my Vista exam. Well, I arrive at the facility, sign the check-in sheet, go into the testing room, sit down at the computer and I am logged in. Now, I have to accept the MS agreement as well as the NDA and do a short tutorial test. So, I complete everything and get ready to start the test and the Prometric test will not work. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH

So, the facility makes a call and apparently the testing system is down This is after the receptionist has been on the phone with Prometric for 45 min. :mad

Anyway, they cant reschedule me for later this afternoon as the facility has 2 other testers coming in and each test has a 4hr exam time......

So, to make a long story short (somewhat) I received a ticket# and had to call to reschedule......after 35 min on the phone - I am rescheduled for 6/30 at 9:00am......

I have been stressed to say the least!! I am going to go shopping!! I will keep you posted!! Kath

Funny Dan had an important appointment canceled this morning also,strange. Think it's cosmic? :confused

 

I am brain dead.....I am scheduled this monday the 29th!!!! Glad I went shopping a picked up a few things feeling better now :-D

 

Hehehe @ shopping Kathy. It has to be quite frustrating to be all gung ho for the test and then the proverbial plug is pulled. Oh well, use the time to review your studies and try on some things that you bought.:-D

 

You are so right augie - but I have to say that the few little things I bought make me look HOT!!! :-D (not talking heat hot either)

48 hrs till "T" day

 

Well my fellow MG's, today was not a good day I took the Vista test and I did not pass :cry

I am going to take a few days off from studying and then I will reschedule the test. I felt very optimistic this morning and when I finished the test I was not optimistic at all.......

I am glad that I have a printout of where I was weak and that will give me the starting point of what I need to concentrate on.

I want to thank everyone for your support and trust me I WILL nail it next time!!!!

Kathy, it takes a real effort to pass the MS tests, it requires a TOTALY different mind set. You can answer a question correctly & still be marked as wrong if you don't answer it exactly how THEY want you to answer it. It was VERY frustrating for me as well. & that was almost 10 years ago. Keep your chin up & think like they want you to & you'll be fine

 

With your tenacity, you will ace it next time round

 

sorry but that isn't bad considering all you have taken thus far, a small set back.

 

Pity about the test results, Kathy. But you will no doubt be able to blitz through it the next time around. Taking a short hiatus and resting up for a bit is a good idea also. You will be way better prepared for the next round, I'm sure.

 

Hi Kathy, just look at it as a chance to do some R&R and extra study time, and I am sure you will show them on the next round...

 

Oh, well. It's not the end of the road. Robert The Bruce tried and tried again and ended up kicking English arse at Bannockburn. He became king of Scotland. You'll get there, Kathy. I'll bet a lot would have felt sorry for themselves and skulked in a corner. I believe your tenacity will see you through. Positivity is your ally. And you've got bags of it.

 

Whatever you do, do NOT think for even 1 minute, that you let us down. :wave
Just as proud that you gave it your best shot. Now you know what to watch out for,which gives you a headstart.
Take you a few days rest, go back, and KICK THEIR HIND ENDS.:major

Ahhhh you guys are the BEST!!!! I have to admit I was feeling a tad bit sorry for myself (only for a second though) but the reality is I will nail it the next time I take it.

@serious sam - your right, the test was so different from the others and now that I know what to expect I know I will nail it!


I still have to say that everyone that I have met, and those of you that I speak with often you are the best of the best! Thank you for everything!!!!
