it would be better if they let the fans cane them.

I have to admit the thought never occurred to me. They would be allowed to keep their shorts on, wouldn't they? :(

it does not matter. if you have 60,000 fans caning them i think it would scare the rest of the users to stop using.
or maybe a better way would be to have a rafel to see who was allowed to cane the player.
    that would be fun.

yeah they need to fire the guys here in the states who test positive. i mean, them not getting fired just shows the kids that its not that big of a deal when it really is.

    A few thoughts.

1 If you use any mind altering substances at work (including soccer players) options are termination or rehab.
2 What you do on your own time is your business, unless it affects others, including family.(including soccer players0
3 A high profile individual in a rehab program who makes a return (playing soccer) becomes a huge success story, which could steer others along this path.
4 No one should go to jail for using drugs unless this use harms another person. We don't have the room,or money to incarcerate basically harmless people.

    Well, think about it.

Why do people go to jail for taking drugs? Because drugs reduces standards of the workforce supporting the economy (in health and in performance at work), and the sales of drugs gives nothing back to the economy (unless a drug lord goes on a particularly large shopping spree, of course). Black markets also open up a whole new anti-social problem of people trying to hide from the authorities.

They don't go to jail because they are dangerous people, they go to jail to make the population less drug orientated. The fact that people involved in drug rings are quite often violent as well is another point entirley.

The whole thing with Mutu is that he was "setting a bad example". It wasn't because he was giving his team an unfair advantage, which would be the case if he was taking some kind of performance enhancing drug "at work", it was because he is in a Premier League team, one of the leaders of the professional leagues, and he is supposed to be as "perfect" to the public eye as possible.

I agree with the other two things.

The reason why these things come out though, is because in the end, others do get affected.

a friend of mine has been in jail for the last 3 years and will be in jail for another 7 years.
all that time for havine 25 hits of LSD.....

i read in the paper yesterday that a man who KILLED a guy was just released from jail after only serving 2 and a half years in jail...

this all make no sence to me at all....
you kill someone you get out in under 5 years.
your cought with LSD, Mushrooms, Peyote, DMT, San Pedro, Perovian Torch or mescoline you go to jail for 10 years with no early out....

manditory minimums are and were a terrible mistake

    Was he selling it?

If so, thats 25 possible chances someone could have died from it.

no he was going camping and he had it on him.
they pulled him over for speading and after some time they ended up searching his car and found the 25 sugar cubes and after a week or so they came and got him they had to test it..

Well, then I would say he was hit with multiple charges.

    DUI
    Possession of an illegal substance

Plus they throw any previous record back at you, too.

The person who killed someone, was it premeditated?

  17. smokinbls

smokinbls the title thing is overrated

    no DWI no DUI
with MM ( manditory Minimums )
they wiegh the substance and the US government then sent the jail time based on the wieght. the judge has no say in the matter

for instance if you were growing pot lets say 100 plants and you got cought there is a MM for that amount it is 5 years, but if you had 99 plants then MM does not effect you although then there is a wieght issue, so the government really has drug offenders in a bind...

    as for the killer
he was drunk and ran a stop sign and hit a 7 year old kid riding her bike...

there was also the sennitor from north dakota who killed a guy and jankalow ( the sennitor ) only got 30 days in jail for killing someone ( 30 f'ing day )he was speading and ran a stop sign and hit a guy on a motorcycle

How on EARTH did you come to that conclusion?

Coke doesn't "reverse" the effects of Alcohol. Yes, maybe it does make you more alert, but it doesn't remove the alcohol from your system.
