IadHide4.dll

I'm having trouble figuring out if IadHide4.dll is spyware or not. It is in my TEMP folder, so it seems suspicious. I have seen people say it is part of Logitech, FSecure or BackWeb and legitimate, but other people say it is a trojan. Can anyone help?

If it's in any of your temporary folders, you can delete it with CCleaner. Go to Step 1 of the READ & RUN ME FIRST (just before Step 2) and follow the instructions in the link for downloading and installing CCleaner. Then skip down to Step 5 and follow the instructions for running CCleaner. You may find it useful as well to download, install and run Spybot Search and Destroy and have it fix what it finds.

Thanks Abri, I did this, but IadHide4.dll is still in my Temp folder. Any other thoughts?

It's part of BackWeb which is used by some companies including HP and Kodak to automate getting your updates. If you prefer doing your updates yourself, you can uninstall it. The easiest way to uninstall it would be if you can find it in add/remove programs and uninstall it from there.

If that doesn't work, it's complicated, but it is possible to uninstall it manually.
