iastor.sys cannot be found

    Hi, I'm trying to do a repair install of windows as my pc will not load the desktop (no icons or start bar appear, task manager doesnt work). After about 10 minutes of installing it asks me to type to location of iastor.sys. Can anyone help me find this file? I cannot download any updates or anything for it as I cannot get the desktop to work.

    Thanks, I followed the system 32 path and managed to find it, it appears to be working now as the install is continuing. Thanks for your help:)
