IBM introduces Anti-Worm toolset

    Masquerades as a susceptible computer network, then traps viruses and denies access to that network by the computers that are trying to send the worm(s).

    Hmm, not really anything new. Honeypots have been around for ages - and are usually pretty easy to spot. I have one myself, in fact. It pretends to be a Windows 98 box with a bunch of open ports - which of course go nowhere.

    Be interesting to see how successful it is against worms.
