    Hi again

I guess you knew I was going to post this but its the best way to fully start the removals process and as this is a fairly new malware varient, it may well install other malwares, so the guide will ghelp uncover them if present,

as I remember you have a fully licenced version of Spyware Doctor, you will have no need to install and run Windows Defender.

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
      • CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
      • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
      • HijackThis
NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!

It happens everyday, some companies are being sued and some are getting away with it. Eventually, they will be busted, hopefully anyway.

They try and trick us Goran with false messages of infection, then tell you, you have to pay to remove, while in reality these apps are spyware themselfs, its becoming hard unless your in contact with these bogus type apps every day to become wise to them, sneeky I know but as BJ says many are being sued, but sadly these companies have to be in a country that will take the time to prosecute and many countries that these apps are coming from dont care.

But this link is a good one I use to just double check applications legitimacy, may help you in future not just for your own PC but the ones you work on, http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

I must agree with you cos I've notice that AWC ( I work for them in creation of the software)sadly I know!! put Alexa in installer,so when you unpack AWC you wonder were it come from.everytime when I install this program Alexa is coming up.I reported this behavior in HQ so maube they will work on this problem.I know money is in question but it's veeeery unfair for the customers.

Many nice programs have crap like that bundled in the installer. Personally, I hate toolbars, over half of the installers today have the Google or Yahoo toolbars packaged and I hate this.
