Icons In Windows 10 Settings Missing

For example if I goto the windows security settings most of the icons are missing... I've tried rebuilding the cache and it did nothing...

At first I thought it was cause I had a ton of fonts (like 3,000) so I deleted all except the default ones but it didn't fix it.. any suggestions ?... right now I'm beta testing windows but I had it before I started to beta test windows I don't understand why.. I know everything still works it's just the eye candy appeal that would be nice to have.

 

you might have to do a windows repair. download Download Tweaking.com - Windows Repair - MajorGeeks and do a full repair.

Okay I wanted to come here and tell anyone whose been eyeballing this thread that "I FIXED IT" so I read online that it very well could be a font problem as I installed a ton of fonts (I think over 2,000) .. in fact I just opened my font folder to give an exact amount and the amount is: 8,475 ... Yes I know I have lots of fonts... Anyways so as I was saying I read online it could be a font problem so I booted into safe mode and deleted all my fonts except the ones that came with windows and it fixed nothing.. so after a day or two I reinstalled my fonts, still no different.. So I got an order come in from amazon for my new blue-tooth mouse for my surface pro 3 .. I think it's 3.. anyways I had the dumb idea of since I just have the basic fonts on that, what if I copy the fonts from that to a usb drive and copy them onto my main computer.. I did that then I copied them into my back up folder cause I make back ups a lot and in this day and age it's important. anyways it asked if I wanted to overwrite a bunch of fonts which I did agree to then I rebooted my computer and now everything is looking back to normal.

So if your looking how to fix it that's how the long winded way that I honestly didn't have to type up fully like that... but the short and curly of it is find another windows 10 device to copy those fonts from and it should fix it.
