Running XP Home SP3. I don't have any virus or malware that I aware of, multiple scans with different programs identify nothing, but I've noticed a large increase in start up time, approaching 2 minutes when it used to be 45 seconds. I've checked start up items and nothing has been added that I don't normally run. I've checked all services and made adjustments to those without much benefit. So I ran HJT report attached and have identified a number (13) of items that I can't identify, which are marked with a "++" before the code.

Don't worry that there are multiple virus/malware apps, there is only one active on the primary drive, all others are on an external drive that is not on unless I am using the software and then I disable the primary, which raises the question why do they show up because the external drive was off when HJT was run.

This is an irritation, not an emergency, but any advice would be appriciated.

    Hello, keni254

However- if you only wish to find out what HJT is showing, you can read this tutorial or post for analysis in the Software Forum.
