ID scam fakes jury duty mishap

heard this on the radio earlier today and figured i would write it down so everyone could read it.

 

I guess it was only a matter of time before those 'bloodsuckers' tapped into another way of relieving honest people of their idenity and money. The only way I can see to stop these 'slimeballs' is with education. Regardless of how intimidating these 'thieves' are on the phone, people need to learn NOT to give out such personal info. They need to learn that a legit organization, like the court system, would not ask for that kind of personal info...that's why they use the Postal Service!! Until people wake up and come out of their shells and educate themslves, there will ALWAYS be some 'scumbag' waiting there to steal whatever they can from unsuspecting people. It's unfortunate, but it's getting to the point where even legit organizations are suffering from the actions of these 'low lifes.'
