I have a "WD Caviar 40GB SE EIDE HD 7200/8MB/ATA-100" And for some reason or another It thinks its a SCSI acording to The Windows XP device manager. This wouldn't bother me that much, but When ever I connect any other IDE devices It won't boot. Any one have any suggestions?

Is there any SCSI device installed at all?

Is the drive connected to the Primary IDE plug on the Motherboard?

What is the jumper settings set as?
