Call me anal retentive. Sure people may come in here with absolutely no clue as to what or how to work a computer, they are aggravated already. They may have been mislead by others as to certain programs and what they are used for. They trust no one ... (consider - hackers, trojans, viruses) and when someone tells them to do or use something they have been misconceived about, they lash out. Would it not be better to educate rather than ridicule? If they don't know where or how to download, would MG not have a better reputation for understanding and guiding?

Something to consider next time you get a e-mail or response.

 

most people aren't ready to say "Hey, I am a dumbass." like I am.
they are scared to admit it to themselves
I see new post all the time stating that they have used this site forever and its their first post and ask for help
so they are helped even though they have a basic knowledge of pertaining software
(we = all of MG)
others admit they need help but then don't act like it when they get it
we don't know what they know, or what software they have unless we are told by them. . .and if one is getting run around in circles, there probably a reason. . .if they want help and don't do what is "suggested" by the member who is helping them
then why ask for help. . .
