    I am having problems browsing the net with IE. The program will initiate but is just a white screen. I have installed IE-9 and no change. Google Chrome works, but my wife wants IE. I have run Malwarebytes, AVG, Tweaker, and no change. Any suggestions?:confused

    HI Larry

    What I would do if you have not fixed this as yet is to rollback to IE7 as the issue was with IE7 and carried over to IE(, installing IE9 could just mask the issue and make it harder to fix.

    What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

    First thing to try is to open IE in its no-addons mode and click Start > Accessories > System Tools and it should be there, see if that helps, if it does then an addon is the cause. Most likey a Toolbar or Searchbar so uninstall any of these addons (eg. BingBar, Google Toolbar YahooToolBar etc)

    If IE with no-addons doesnt work then try this Hotfix HERE for this very issue.
