    im not able to get rid of ie8 beta
    and a thing called microsoft indexing from my system?
    im using hotmail dell vostro 1700

    xp on a dell vostro 1700
    and wont let me on most forums tap the read forums button to clear the forum

    • From the Start menu, open Control Panel and click Add or Remove Programs
    • Click Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta and then click Remove.
    • Your computer will be reverted to Internet Explorer 6 + previous IE6 security updates or Internet Explorer 7 + previous IE7 security updates depending on what you had before the upgrade.
    • You can confirm that by clicking Help, then About Internet Explorer next time you launch Internet Explorer.
    • Be sure to check for any new security updates.

    Yes I see what you mean, I hadn't seen those other posts as it was late for me when I responded last night (or early morning) OP really needs to post one problem in one thread, and another in...well..another to avoid confusion. Sure we can sort it out one way or another :)
