    Every time I access a URL from a Google search I get redirected to another site. This has been happening for a week now.

    I can access sites by typing in the URL or by using the favourites.

    Attached are my logs.

    Thank you for your help

    Regards
    Eddie

    Please attach the C:\MGLogs.zip....you can't zip a zip.

    In the meantime, you will need to boot to the Recovery Console that you have installed (perhaps when you installed ComboFix) to remove this infection.

    Now boot to the Recovery Console and run the fixmbr to clear a Master Boot Record infection that you have.

    You can read the below to help you do this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654

    Then boot back into normal mode.

    Now please put ComboFix directly on your desktop!!

    The infection usually is accompanied by two files in the temp folders. They are a combo of number, symbols and letters. They also need to be removed. Which is why I wanted the MGLogs.zip by itself.

    If you feel you are clean enough, then fine. If not, please attach that zip log. :)

    Apparently it didn't, unless this log is from before you ran the fixmbr as it does seem to be from Dec.15th.

    I would like a new MGLogs.zip....just run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\MGlogs.zip
