IE blue bar

At the top of the screen is the blue bar..but, it has the IE logo and then 30+ little boxes. Also at the bottom. Instead of displaying the name of the page that is open it has those irritating little boxes!!!!! Anyone know how to get rid of that?

I'd do the following, then post in the malware forum, to be on the safe side, this isn't some sort of malware on your machine:
