IE is hiding old versions of files from me...

Where can I go to terminate them? It has some old pictures catched that have changed since it last viewed them. I suspect that it is actually IE's catch because IE has the same old version of the file hidden away.

 

Nevermind, it must have decided to retrieve the new version. It works now!

Puhleeeze open your IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab, and CHECK the line that says "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder ..." (way down near the bottom of the list). Then APPLY and OK and close IE, and you will never be plagued by "the ghosts of pictures past" again.

A cache is a fine thing to have WHILE you're on the Web. BUt once you close your browser, you don't WANT old copies of site files and images stored on your computer forever. When it comes to saving the Temporary Internet Files folder (Cache), ...
