IE Pop-ups with no malware to be seen!

I am getting pop-ups while running Internet Explorer as well as "advertisements" for "free" malware programs that take the place of regular ad windows in normal web pages. I first started having issues about three days ago after incorrectly typing in a URL and clicking something in the window. Immediately my virus scan started telling me it was rejecting trojans left and right. Shortly thereafter I started getting the pop-ups. I ran Lavasoft's Ad-aware, Spybot, and CWShredder, as well as the Panda RootKit finder and ran scans with my Norton Anti-virus. They found MANY parasites and after multiple scans (too many to count) they have stopped finding anything. The pop-ups (and "ads") continue however. (interestingly, my norton just informed me that it blocked Trojan.metajuan!) What is going on and How do I stop it? I am running Firefox right now and don't seem to be having any of the same issues, but for me it really is the principle of the thing!

Its me again. I followed all the instructions I found AFTER posting here for malware removal.

IT WORKED!

Combo Fix is my Hero. It found the crap on my computer that was loading all the false ads into my browser.
