A friend of mine installed Ad Subtract on his computer. After telling him of Mozilla he decided to uninstall it and use Mozila instead. Now if he goes to do Windows updates on Internet exploder it looks for the proxy of ad subtract. Anyone see a way around this or how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance!

Has he cleared the Proxy panel behind the Lan Settings button on the Connections tab of Internet Options?

No but thank you I will have him do that. I guess I should mention as well that I did uninstall Internet Explder for him, and re-install it, and that didn't help. It seems to only effect IE and not Mozilla. Fo now I have automatic updates turned on for him just in case another update comes before this gets fixed.

Thanks for the tip i will call him today and tell him to do that.
