    Hey guys.

Right, i've just always used IE for browsing etc, just cos its there and i have no problems. I've heard people talk about about 'faster' browsers, or browsers that use less resources..

I'm running a broadband connection of somewhere around 500kbs.. Am i really going to notice a difference in browsing speed?

If so, what are your favourites, and.. Why?

Even if it won't make much difference in speed, getting away from anything MS can't be bad.

My 2 favorites are Mozilla's Firefox and Opera 7.5. Give them both a try. I use them because Opera has alot of nice features and Firefox is a simple light weight browser which you can add alot of extensions/plug-ins to.

I like Firefox and I like MyIE2, both have tabbed browsing and are pretty efficient, I tend to use either/or depending on mood.

personal preference, but I abhor mozilla. I use MyIE2 or Opera. Mostly MyIE2 though.

I mainly use MyIE2. Simple to use
and tabbed browsing which is easier
than having multiple IE windows open.
