IE running extremely slow when first launched

    Takes 1-2 minutes to launch but is fine after that. Here is my log file from Hijack this: Thanks.

    Your problems may not be malware. If may just be the addons and toolbars you have hooked into IE.

    If you want to check for malware, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    I think that is what it is also, I just wasn't sure which forum to post it in I guess. Do you see anything that jumps out at you as far as add-ons or toolbars, or can you direct me on where to post it to? Thanks.

    We deal in malware in this forum. You can post in the Software Forum if you wish. However your slow startup is probably caused by Symantec, Google Toolbar and any number of the below items that you are running at startup:
