Hey guys I got here by Firefox (anyone heard that before?) anyway my Internet Explorer (ie) is stuffed and shuts down only seconds after launching it.My home page is yahoo.com and it starts to say

"Website found opening page www.yahoo.com" and then BANG it closes down.Yes I have tried the obvious changing home page for example www.google.com but same thing happens "opening page www.google.com" BANG it closes down

This is where it gets strange, previously saved htm/html files also closes down after a few seconds.Tried re-installing Msie 6 it starts to install and gets to

"Windows 2000/Windows XP Install" I click next then BANG she shuts down?Bizarre.Next go to control panel,Add remove, currently installed programs but Msie is NOT listed there!

Also when launching outlook express and going to inbox,if any of the e-mails are sent in html form, click the e-mail and BANG shuts down. However text and attachments are fine, only html which closes.

OK time for spyware remover/anti virus program.Used and installed CWShredder,Ad-aware,Spybot search and destroy,Spyware doctor after all of those approx 50 counts of spyware found but now have been successfully removed.

Nod32 Antivirus found no viruses,i've attached my hijackthis log.

AMD Sempron 2600,256MB ram,Windows xp pro,ADSL using Lan.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

Normal procedures require that you run the below sticky thread before posting any HijackThis logs. Due to your problem, I will make an exception.

First a question. What is the below for?
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [00saskda] "C:\Program Files\1st Security Agent\newadmin.exe" saskda

Make sure viewing of hidden files is enabled (per the tutorial).

Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {259F616C-A300-44F5-B04A-ED001A26C85C} - (no file)
    O15 - Trusted Zone: *.gateone.ath.cx
    O15 - Trusted Zone: *.gateone.ath.cx (HKLM)
    O21 - SSODL: WinInit - {89DCA4BB-9796-4D35-88A6-5337C83E56F1} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\winsock32.dll

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.
Boot into safe mode and use Windows Explorer to delete
    :
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\winsock32.dll

Now if running Win XP goto c:\windows\Prefetch and delete all files in this folder.
Now run Ccleaner (installed while running the READ ME FIRST)
    .

Now reboot in normal mode and post a new HJT log.

Make sure you tell me how things are working now.

Your log is clean. If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to go back to step 1 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points. Then reboot and enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.

After that, you should work thru the below link:
