IE ver 7 help

I am running XP and IE ver 7. When I open IE the address highlighted is always MY Yahoo, which may be way down the list. I want the first address on the list to be highlighted and ready to click on. Is there a way to change this? Also is there a way to delete address's from the drop down list?

 

go to tools which should be at the top right of your IE 7 browser, the first selection at the top of the drop-down box should be 'delete browsing history'.

try that.

if that doesn't work then down load CCleaner, that program will clean most things on your computer, though do a back up when cleaning out your registry.
